This is the only salad place I go to. I'm not a big salad eater, but I absolutely love the salads at Fourleaf. TIP: The small salad is still very big, and it's a great deal. It's not the most attractive place (orange and green walls), but the food is amazing.

Very disappointed. I ordered a spinach salad with avocado, beets and chicken. I was given a spinach bowl with about one bite of avocado, a sprinkle of beets, and maybe three baby bite sized pieces of chicken...thank you Four Leaf for having me pay $8 for a bowl of chopped spinach when I can buy one pound of organic spinach from Costco for $4.49. Like I said very disappointed.

Love their crunchy, fresh salads! Lots of texture and options for your salads. Excellent dressings and huge portions. They keep well if you put the dressing on the side. The gummi bears on the side are super cute and I bring them to my son as a treat after preschool when I eat here.

REALLY glad my online order was incorrect because after seeing the conditions of this place I didn't want to eat there anyway!!! I ordered online to save time, but going here was a complete waste of time!!! 1. I ordered my salad with dressing on the side so that I could try several of the different dressings. Instead, what I got was a salad tossed with 3 different dressings ... REALLY??? 2. I've never seen such a DIRTY restaurant. Looked like it hadn't been mopped or swept in weeks. The counters were grimy, and there were stains on the walls and under the cutting boards ... GROSS!!! 3. I like the idea of a chopped salad, except when I see the knife used for chopping is wiped down with the same towel that is used to wipe the cutting boards, counters, and employee's hands!!! 4. They offered to remake the salad, and after having to ask for it to be remade a second time, I was informed they were out of romaine ... REALLY, you're a salad place??? 5. By this time I asked for a refund, and the manager said he would do it. OK, when exactly is that going to happen? I was told to check my account later ... REALLY??? Not sure how the health department hasn't shut this place down!

As someone who believes salad is meant to just be the first course of a meal, I may be in trouble. To begin, these salads are freaking huge! Forget a salad to start your meal, these are a whole meal (dang it!). There are multiple predefined salads which make ordering a salad easy enough. Ok, I like chicken wings (probably the reason I *need* to eat more salads) so let's go for a buffalo chicken salad. Sounds logical enough. They assemble the salad chop it up, mix it up, etc. Now in case like me the definition of a buffalo chicken salad means 4 carrot sticks, 4 celery sticks and the wings, you will be disappointed. But if you want something healthy (which carries with it health effects of you know ... eating salad, not fried chicken slathered in sodium) it is close enough to make you think you ate something similar. It is filling, it is salad, it is healthy (or at least much healthier then many other quick service meals).

Great service, seems to be fresh ingredients and they literally shop everything up. However they use entirely too much dressing. My salad was saturated . So much so that when I got back to work some of it was already soggy.

I used to love this place years ago and I have tried to go there twice in the last year to see if it was just an off day and this place has gone down hill. The chicken has a weird taste and the vegetables didn't taste good at all. Not sure if someone else took over the management but the was the worse salad I've had from there and I just had to toss my lunch out. This place will be closing soon I'm sure they just don't have the quality of food compared to others to keep this place going. You can go to modmarket and get a way better salad for cheaper. :/

These folks are THE BEST! A group of girls at work decided to get Fourleaf for lunch (this isn't a new thing) and we discovered that they now have delivery after $28! So, we all ordered our salads and typed something cute in the "special instructions" area. Things like "please make with love!" and "you guys rock!" because well, that's how we do. The staff at Fourleaf responded to every salad comment with something even cuter in return! We were gushing! And to top it all off, they sent a little treat of Gummy Bears because we were nice. How RAD is THAT? So, I DEFINITELY recommend this place for ALL occasions and I even sent the link to our office manager so she could look into them catering for us! Fourleaf, y'all just made my day!

The concept here is pretty awesome (probably because I compare the concept to Chipotle's concept). That being said, I am not a huge salad eater. I like salad, but I'm not diehard. I have been here a few times and each time I have gotten the Buffalo Chicken salad off the "pre-made" menu. This salad has been pretty freaking good each time. This last time, I really splurged and added bacon and it was even better! I might get the hang of the "build your own" menu in 34 more visits! Do yourself a favor, just get the buffalo chicken salad and dont forget your bread and gummy bears at the check out :) You are welcome!

I've been getting salads here for several years. The staff remembers me, sometimes by name, and are unfailingly friendly and courteous. At $9 for a large it is a bit pricy but the ingredients are always fresh and high quality so I don't mind. There's tons of toppings and dressings so you can make your salad as healthy or high-calorie as you desire.

Wonderful fresh food with exceptional staff. We just wish they were nationwide. Always our first stop when in the Denver area. There are so many choices, everyone gets exactly what they want. If you like salads you just have to eat here! You will not be disappointed! We have eaten here 15-20 times and the place is always clean and they always get our order right every time.

I'm sad to report that fourleaf is slowly losing its appeal. The last two times I have been in, there is techno music blaring, the restaurant has an unclean/musty smell, and the sneeze guard and floors have residual swirl marks from using unclean water or rags/mop. I feel as if management is spending too much time and money on marketing and new TV monitors to display menus and not paying attention to staff or maintaining the great reputation that the former owner built. I would be so sad to see this place go for these reasons.

I heart salad places and Fourleaf is no exception.I was forewarned to get here early and that's no lie--we got there at 11:30am and there were a few people ahead of us and by the time we left the line was nearly out the door which is just ridunkulous (but at the same time reassuring to see people in line for salads vs fast food). They have small and large sizes, set salads or create your own version, simple enough to find something that will make your mouth and belly smile. I went with a large cobb salad and love that they offer it with grilled chicken. It's kinda like the setup at Subway in a constant conveyor belt like line but you don't talk to the employees at Fourleaf, they just do their thing. Execution wise it's a fail because it gets backed up which then in turn results in a line almost out the door. This right here is going to stop me from coming here again for a salad when I want to dine in and instead I will choose to call in the order and pick it up. Oh yeah and when you pay there's gummy bears, lots and lots of gummy bears. Heaven. The salad was terrific and too much for me to kill in one sitting so I got to have second lunch later in the afternoon. I hope they either expand their space or hours, they are only open from 11a-4p, what the hell? Some people like salads later than that.

  • Ivy B.

I came here when I had a training in the neighborhood. The salads were really fresh and delicious. They even offer a little bread stick with your salad. The line was a little slow, which was my only complaint, but overall a good experience.

Fast, affordable, healthy options with a friendly staff to boot! Had a small southwestern with the lime-cilantro vinaigrette and it was great. Note the small was plenty for a lunch portion and I was not left hungry. Worth noting their wifi worked well.

  • Jessica J.

For me, Fourleaf is still the best of the fast salad places near my office IF you are taking out the salad. While I do think it is one of the better priced salad places and I happen to like their favorite selections or daily salad specials, it isn't a place that will draw you in and make you want to sit and relax at lunch. It is in a weird shopping plaza that is super busy and doesn't have much of a seating area. However, I think it is one of the better assembly line salad places for the price. While Choppers in a nicer atmosphere (bigger/brighter) and Mad Greens is great if you are in the Park Meadows area, Fourleaf is perfect for the quick in and out lunch. Nothing fancy. They are only open Mon-Fri from 11a to 4p so it is strictly a work day lunch place!

Great salad Fast service I had the Napa Valley. I like the crunchy apples with the blue cheese dressing.

Sometimes it is so hard to find a salad or something healthy for lunch and this is the perfect concept. It obviously works because every time I go there it is packed but they also do a great job moving the line- efficiency! There are a number of pre-made salads to choose from but you also can make your own. On the website, you could get an idea of the calorie count if that is important to you. I've managed to pick the salad of the day each time. I love how they put in all the ingredients, chop it all up, mix in a bit of dressing, and voila! I guess most importantly is the taste and I have never thought twice about it- it's always been good. I do feel the price is a bit high but given how fast and well it is done, you can't really compare it ingredient for ingredient so I'm okay with that.

Best salad for a light lunch. Always friendly to their customers and have never messed up on my order in the 4 years I have eaten there. Great dressings, and drinks.

My company has been fanatics of Fourleaf over the past year, probably ordering easily hundreds of salads a month because the chopped salads are just delicious! I have had my share of gripes over their fax system (sometimes fax are not received) or their call ahead line taking longer than the regular mile long line, but we continued to be loyal as we love our salads. Today sadly, I think things might have taken a turn for the worst. I was enjoying my salad when all of a sudden i had a pungent foul taste in my mouth so I literally spit the food out and saw that I had bitten into a dime-sized June Bug - literally was like biting into a sunflower seed shell. Beyond mortified, I called the store to let them know and the only response that I got from an employee that I have spoken to thousands of times "Hmm, don't know how that got there, we'll take care of you next time". Understandably, at this point there is nothing that can be done, but for as much business as my company has provided Fourleaf I hoped for a little more empathy than that. I work in a world where my company is customer obsessed and I have to say that I was not impressed with this level of commitment to customer satisfaction. My issue is moreso with the response of the employee over actually finding the bug. I coordinate lunches for a 300+ person office and sadly I do believe we will be taking our business elsewhere going forward.

Very good salads. You get plenty of food for the value and they chop and mix everything together for you. They apply the right amount of dressing so the balance is perfect. Everything tastes fresh and clean. Because they're located in a more commercial area, it does get crowded during the lunch rush between 11:30 and 1. The line can be long, but the salads are worth the wait- they do move quickly though. I've made it through the line in about fifteen minutes- between waiting to order, ordering, watching them make the salad, and paying.

    (4)
  • Nathan D.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times over the last two years. The last two times I've been the wait has been substantially shorter and the reason is pretty obvious. The quality of the food has gotten substantially worse. I will probably give it one more try to see if the quality comes back up but if it stays the same as it is now I won't be going back.

I don't like salads but this place is fantastic. Even the smoothies are great. They were very busy but very organized and quick. Friendly nice staff. I will definitely go back.

  • Jessica T.

An extra star just for efficiency. They get incredibly busy, like most good DTC lunch establishments, though somewhat surprising considering they're tucked away in a shopping center and can't be seen from the road. They are uber-organized, quick and on point! I like their list of "specialty" salads, but also having the choice to build your own. I always avoid the build your own because the price only includes 4 toppings, 1 cheese and meat/protein is extra. I want like 15 "toppings", at $.60/extra topping, so I just stick with their prefab salads :) I think $10 for a DTC lunch is perfectly acceptable, even for salad. Overall, your typical chopped salad joint, that also randomly serves smoothies (never tried though), and they have fountain Pepsi. It's on my DTC lunch rotation a couple times a year, when I remember to go to lunch before 11:30- otherwise it's just too dang busy!

I used to eat here every single weekday for lunch. Then I moved to California. This weekend I came back after 3 years away and I knew I needed to see if the salads were as perfect as I remember them. Guess what? THEY WERE! It was bliss. And the owner remembered me! Service and selection doesn't get any better than this. If only I could clone this place and bring it with me to Cali. 4LEAF4EVER!

I've gone to Fourleaf Chopped Salads many times over the years that they have been open. As others have said, this place is in a shopping center and can't be seen from any of the busy roads nearby. The good: Salads are of a very generous size (I can't usually finish a small). Ingredients are fresh and tasty. Now, the reason why I rated this place 2 stars: Entirely too long to get a salad. Staff spends way too much time working on the phoned in orders and not nearly enough working on the people who are standing in line, leaving me to wonder why 10 salads have been made while the line hasn't moved. The last two visits, I've left without even getting a salad after the line didn't move for 10 minutes. The space is entirely too small and too crowded for the volume of people who want to get food here. (One area of seating is completely unusable due to the length of the line). Probably will not visit again unless improvements are made.

  • Michelle S.

YUM! Salads for lunch are always a welcome choice. Light, as filling as you want to make them. That being said I LOVE Fourleaf. I think it's because the salads are chopped and that just makes me happy. I love that they have a variety of pre-set salad options but that you can also choose to create your own. Everything is fresh, made to order and is just delicious. It can be a bit crowded at peak lunch time hours because of all the tech center business it gets but otherwise I've got no complaints. Well maybe that they aren't open on the weekends :) Want a salad? Go here!

  • Damion W.

I guess you have to review this place for exactly what it is. The home of the $10 salad! Are the salads good? Yes. Would I pay for one of these salads with my hard earned money? No. Would I go there if someone else was treating? Well... I wouldn't necessarily be happy about it, but I would definitely eat it. All in all, the lunch crowd in DTC absolutely loves this place, if you go there any time after 1130 until about 2, plan on waiting. The staff works hard to get you in and out, and the service is pretty good (considering how many people they deal with on a daily basis) For all you salad heads... ENJOY! I will take the time to make my salad at home and bring it to work. AMEN!

  • Adam S.

There are few times where I think I've met owners of a restaurant who were as engaging and hands on as Michael and his brother Zach are. And that's just the service!!! These salads are the best I've ever had. Not exactly sure if it's their God like chicken or the out of this world ranch that they put on my salad but it tasted amazing. Could be that it's all chopped and mixed which was something I never had before. The staff was great too! Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Don't get me started on those gummy bears too. Whaaaaat?! Where on earth did those magnificent pieces of joy come from? Will tell everyone about Fourleaf chopped salads. It's a great place for lunch!

  • Meredith G.

I am not normally in the DTC area, but thanks to my yelp app I found this spot to eat at. Set in a strip mall the outside isn't much, but inside is bright and colorful. It was just 12 and it was packed till the minute I left. They almost need more seating out some outdoor tables for overflow. I enjoyed the Nappa salad. They have lots of salad dressing choices and recommended one to go well with this salad. The small is very large and had lots of chicken. A great value for $7.50.

  • Kenny H.

The Salads are great, but the wait can be a bit too much. It is a popular place, but 20-30 minute wait for a salad is too much. Been there twice.

  • Naomi R.

This place is my second choice to Mad Greens. Word on the street is that this place has been getting super busy so today me and two co-workers faxed our orders in. We walked in and the place was packed with a line to the door. Faxing in our orders ahead of time didn't help because we stood in front of the registers staring at our pre-made salads sitting on the counter for 10 minutes or more all the while watching the people standing in line getting their salads, paying and leaving. The place is too small now that it's always so busy and it gets hot in there. I asked for salad dressing on the side, when we got back to work I realized they forgot my dressing. All in all it was a poor experience, so happy a Mad Greens is opening up on Arapahoe and Quebec.

  • Shannon M.

I cannot get light dressing here to save my life. I've asked for extra light, extra extra extra very super light, begged, pleaded, and have been there frequent enough to now call it quits. My salad is lightly dressed maybe 5% of the time because it's luck of the draw who chops/dresses your salad and whether that person reads/cares about the note specifying the amount of dressing. I've personally watched as someone dressed two salads exactly the same while one sheet specified light and another heavy. Huge big deal, no, but here's the thing; I'm happy spending $10 on a salad when I can follow it along and ask for it to be a bit more specific. You used to be able to this and it also seemed to be their entire business model....Unfortunately they've abruptly lost this hugely important factor that made it worth it, to me anyway, because let's face it mixed in dressing is way better than on the side. So, sad to say the $7 salad from the drive thru across the street is very tasty and now a very similar experience with a very similar resulting salad. The ingredients are good and the staff friendly so no complaints there. The salads are just inconsistent and not worth it :-(

  • Whitney W.

I love Fourleaf! I love there concept. I do make my own. This is a place where you can make your salad any which way you want and then they chop it up for you and place your dressing already on your salad. The whole concept is very convenient. The main item that I WISH THEY HAD was GOAT CHEESE (like there competitor Mad Greens) in which I definitely feel fourleaf is better simply because they do chop the salad. I do love this place and when I feel like spending alil bit more on lunch I go here anytime I can.

  • Emily W.

This is one of my top spots for lunch during the week. I usually order the Cobb salad but I've tried the Napa Valley, Low Carb, Buffalo Chicken and steak. the only reason I wasn't really a fan of the Steak was because it had iceberg lettuce, I prefer romaine because of the nutrition value. I haven't really ventured off of their favorite menu because I can only imagine how much a "build your own" salad would be, each ingredient extra is $.60 and if you want extra meat, expect to spend $1 for each type you want to add. If you are looking for a healthy lunch, be sure to keep in mind what dressings you are putting on your salad. A small salad with ranch can easily add up to over 700 calories. They have a ton of selection of fat free dressings that are delicious (Try the red roasted pepper! Delicious). I will keep coming back here for lunch! Especially with swimsuit season right around the corner!

  • Hope A.

Meh. I was all about this place when I was first introduced to it. I love a good salad and I love the fact that you can grap a little cup of gummy bears as well (for those of us who aren't masters at portion control). However, my last few times haven't been so great- I think the quality is lacking in the produce and the salads are mostly lettuce and not enought "other stuff." Now that modmarket has online ordering, I think I am going to make the switch. Also, this place is always chaotic and takes some waiting, even if you order ahead.

we just tried their delivery option and it was great! we did 7 orders and everyone got what they wanted!!! the food arrived exactly when it was scheduled!!! great new option for businesses in the area!!!

I wasn't aware of this place until Michelle suggested that we do lunch here. Fourleaf has a salad menu of suggested pairings, as well as make your own salad combinations. There are suggested salad dressings for the menu offerings, but you may select any of the salad dressings offered. The small is approx $5.50 and the large was $6.50 or $7.50 and appeared huge to me, so I opted for the small and tried the special salad listed on the board. The salad included tuna, celery, apple and walnuts (maybe). Very, very tasty and the dressing was delish, a creamy cilantro lime dressing. There are options for fresh black pepper on the salad, a bread stick to accompany the salad and croutons. Your dessert are gummy bears, which there is a bucket with a small sample size cup that you can use as your container for dessert. It's very, very cute and the gummy bears are the right amount of sweet after a tasty salad. I'm happy to have found this place and like it much better than Choppers, which was bland and flavorless and too expensive. It's also nice that they chop your salad for you, so you do not have to have large chunks of food and lettuce in every bite. I can see that this salad joint will become a lunch favorite.

    (4)
  • Tara L.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing and all so friendly. The vegetables are always fresh and they are pretty quick with getting your salad out to you even when the line is out the door (which is M-F around lunchtime.) I'm still so surprised they haven't opened up more locations and aren't open on the weekends because they are always packed!

  • Claudia B.

I'd just like to correct the fact that Terry B. did NOT "discover this place" at any given time as I TOLD him about this place! LOL!! Okay, now that we've got that straightened out...this place is the BOMB. It's my favorite, Go To salad place here in Southeast Denver. There is this huge menu on the wall as you walk in and you can select the type of lettuce you want (or you can mix and match) and then all sorts of ingredients for your salad. The options are truly overwhelming. If you do become overwhelmed, they have "pre-set" salads on the menu as well which I'm sure you can edit the ingredient list for. I always like to get a mix of Spinach and Romaine lettuce, some type of nut (almonds usually win), some type of cheese (usually blue cheese wins), some type of fruit (cranberries are a favorite), boiled eggs, and then a super yummy dressing (a vinagrette usually). They take all of your selections and put it into this GIANT bowl as you move down the counter. They mix and mix everything together and then pour it out on this white cutting board. Here's where the fun begins! THIS is what makes this place different. They take these giant curved sword type things and go back and forth on your salad chopping it up to pieces with such speed!!! Then they put it back into the bowl (if eating in-house) or into a to-go plastic container. And you even get a couple of breadsticks to go along with it. How great is that?! It DOES get crowded during M-F work lunch but the line move pretty fast. You just might not have a place to sit so get your salad to go!

I have always loved this place and been coming here for years. I was concerned when there was a management change because everything had always been super great before. The new owners seem very nice and a lot of the same employees remained. However, I agree with some other reviewers that the quality has decreased slightly. Take my experience today: I go in at 12:30 and am shocked when there are ZERO people in line. Was that a hint? Usually the line is out the door! I ordered my salad and I noticed when the guy went to mix my salad with the dressing, he took his spatula out of a huge pan of water and it was dripping. Sure enough, my salad was EXTREMELY soggy and it definitely tasted as if some of the ingredients were not washed properly. Also, they didn't stuff the lettuce in the bowl like normal so after the salad was chopped, the bowl was only 3/4 full. I still gave it 3 stars because I've loved it in the past and hope the new owners read this and make small changes. I will try again.

I went here today for the first time in hopes that the salads would be as good as they are at Green downtown. I found it to be better than Mad Greens, but not nearly as good as Green. Had the southwest and it was just ok. Nice fresh lettuce and generous quantity, but the flavor was lacking for me. Could have used tortilla strips (instead of croutons which didn't really "fit" with the rest of the flavors). Wasn't a fan of the roasted red pepper dressing. The bread they give along with the salads reminded me of a cheap hotdog bun. So...not terrible, but not great. I'd maybe come here again and try a different salad, but not very likely. It was packed though, so other people seem to love it!

  • David H.

Not impressed. I got the steakhouse salad to go. Got back to the office (5min away) and it was soggy. Blue Cheese dressing was water-y... Maybe I'm the one in a hundred with a bad experience..?

  • Brian T.

Was looking for a salad place close to work and I believe I've found a good one! The line moves fast, the staff is friendly, and the ingredients seem fresh. I ordered a standard (size) cobb salad and it's a pretty hefty amount of food once you pick up the bowl. I got it with the home made blue cheese dressing which is a mild blue cheese flavor. Along with 2 other co-workers we all agreed that the flavor wasn't anything super flavorful or intense but then again maybe salad's shouldn't be? I would come here again if I'm hankering for a salad for lunch.

Super good salads!! The smaller size is more than enough for the average person. Have come here throughout the years....maybe only stopping in once a year, but I never forget about it!

Best salad spot in DTC! Way better than Choppers and they are super friendly. Wish they delivered!!

  • Lynne P.

My favorite salad place - lucky for me, it's nearby my office so I am a frequent visitor at lunch. I love the set salad options but more often than not, I opt to create my own. The fresh ingredients are perfectly combined to make a tasty salad. Price is reasonable - i usually pay about $7.5-8 for a giant salad. And double bonus is the breadstick and self-serve gummy bears as you pay. I can never say no to, either.

  • Lisette M.

If I had opted out of getting the red onions on my Italian salad, this would have been one of the most pleasant salad experiences I've ever had. They didn't have artichoke hearts due to the bad crops this year, so I substituted hearts of palm instead. I also got romaine lettuce instead of iceberg because....ew. I went back and forth on whether or not to get onions. They tend to overpower things, but I took a leap of faith. Wrong decision. But next time, I'll know. And I will go back if I'm ever in the area because the thing that makes this place so special is the way they chop and mix the salads. Usually, salads have large pieces of lettuce and huge chunks of everything else that make eating undignified and getting a good mix of ingredients in one bite impossible. Not so here. They have swords with a handle on each end where they chop everything up and mix it so that every bite is as good as it gets. The small is pretty big, and the large is much bigger for only about a dollar more. Despite all the good, it is still a salad joint, so it's hard for me to get excited enough to rate more than 3 stars. And I was hungry about 30 minutes later.

I have been heading to Fourleaf since the first day it opened and it is truly hard to stay away. Everyone likes the idea of eating a salad for lunch, and this place turns that "good idea" into an enjoyable experience. They have numerous mix-ins and dressings that are guaranteed to please no matter what kind of mood you are in. My personal favorite is the Napa Valley (without celery and blue cheese... two of my absolute LEAST favorite foods). I think I have gotten this constantly for the past 3 years but before I became a one-salad girl, I used to get the Southwestern a lot with either Southwest Ranch or the Roasted Red Pepper Vinagerette. Sometimes the pepper can be a little chunky, and the croutons just too much, so use your disgression before ordering those. And just make sure that you ask for what you want because they'll do things like give you light dressing, but not unless you ask. Also, the breadsticks? A perfectly doughy buttery addition to the salad that leaves you wanting another one. But then you remember why you are eating a salad in the first place and tell yourself you just will have to wait until next time.

I have been going to Fourleaf since I was in high school. Since there is only one location, I have tried to get my chopped salad fix elsewhere (say, Mad Greens), but nothing is quite like this place. The lunch rush at Fourleaf is unlike anything else. There is a winding line of hungry customers waiting to devour the delicious greens! My go-to salad is the Napa Valley. Romaine, spring mix, walnuts, celery, craisins, chicken, apples, and raspberry vinagrette (I hold the bleu cheese). Time and time again, this chopped salad joint does not disappoint. If the salad itself doesn't do it for you, Fourleaf's breadsticks are also something to talk about. Perfectly toasted and warm, they pair perfectly with a salad bowl. As do the complimentary gummy bears at the register. So glad I was able to get a handle on my Fourleaf hankering today!

I have been going here since they first opened. Owners are really nice and the people who work there give great service! I like how they chop the salad for you and mix everything fresh. The small salad is great, and the large salad..IS WAY WAY big and great for the price. Unlike the "other" salad place that is out here, I don't get the ripped off feeling when I pay for my salad! They need to open up another location!!!!!!

You wouldn't expect a place like this in the center it's located. A bit off of the main roads, situated between a Merry Maids regional office and a Cleaning Supplies Vendor is this little piece of salad heaven. I would say I'm a regular at Fourleaf Chopped Salads. I've been visiting here at least once a week for over 4 years now. While at certain times the line can be very long (10-15 minutes from walking in to the door to sitting down with your salad) the service is always great. Here's a hint: arrive on the half-hour or just after that for the shortest lines. I've found the longest lines occur on the hour until about 20-25 minutes past the hour. They have numerous "favorite" salads which are convenient and easy to order. But you can also build your own salad...which is what I do. All the ingredients look and taste fresh, as if they had been cut just that morning. If you're new...don't be shy to ask for suggestions on anything! They know their salads! Why is this salad place any better than the competitors you find over by Park Meadows or further north in the Tech Center? 1. Staff is super friendly! 2. They chop your salad up so you are never stuck with a huge leaf of lettuce or piece of chicken on your fork.

The only other thing I can add to my last review is that they now serve these amazing filled desert cakes from Cakeheads. You can have this nice salad and then share a lovely desert with a friend , family or just eat it yourself. Remember these salads are wonderfu and so fresh. Love it here

I discovered this place when I was on my 3 weeks of hell cleanse. They actually make a really good salad here, and the dressings are excellent! I've now eaten here 3 or 4 times and everything's been very constent each time. (although once I waited in line about 10 minutes on a particularly busy day--I go a bit earlier now to avoid all the summer body dieters) They've got good service - I once ordered a dressing that the lady made me try to ensure I liked it. (I'll eat anything and told her so, but she insisted. I still liked it, but I can certainly see how some would find it overpowering--kudos in my book) Ingredients are fresh, the proteins are very tasty and actually seasoned well. They offer great crunchy croutons and black pepper as well. I think I've tried all their vinagrettes and they're all tasty as all get out. Can't miss here on the food. The environment...well that's another story. Cold, fake metal chairs and tiny tables, but I could care less...I usually get it to go anyway.

Fourleaf Chopped Salads - A Haiku Dear god I feel fat One too many hamburgers Tasty rabbit food Now I normally adhere to a strict policy of "if its good for you it tasts like crap" in my daily lunch adventures. But after resisting this place for nearly a year I finally caved. And I glad i did. Fourleaf is nothing spectacular, its the little things that make the difference. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious, but that can be said about a lot of places. I am convinced that the reason this place succeeds is the actual chopping of the salad. All of your ingredients are diced up and tossed in your favorite dressing, yet they all manage to stay crisp and flavorful in the final product (its a process I have failed to replicate at home leading to some instances of salad porridge and puree . . .). The service is fast and friendly and the meal is reasonably prices. They lose 5 star eligibility because of A) the abysmal parking situation, B) The restaurant is the size of a small closet and gets VERY crowded and C) Its a salad place. Regardless, it has found its way into the rotation of tasty lunch spots during my week. Give it a try if your in the area.

Blows the pants off of Mad Greens! Have been going to this place for a couple of years now... locally owned, it's the only location (I with they'd branch out!). The selection of ingredients is impressive... the dressings stellar (and home-made). I've never had a bad dish here... and the only think keeping me from trying new things is how amazing my go-to dishes are! Just try to make it before 11:45 or after 12:30 on any given day, they get slammed by the DTC lunch crowd like clockwork.

Fourleaf was recommended by a co-worker of mine as was the Napa Valley Salad, which consists of field greens, walnuts, chicken, dried cranberries, celery, and apple. I usually also add black olives to that mix and has it doused in balsamic vinaigrette. YUM is all I can say! There's not too many places to sit, and if you get there around noon, you're absolutely going to be waiting for awhile in line. I really like the staff there, variety of salad types and especially the free gummi bears at the register. I'll also add that they have smoothies, a soda fountain and whoopie pies! I haven't had a good whoopie pie since leaving New England 5 years ago until now. YUMTASTIC!

I just got back from trying to eat lunch at Fourleaf for the second time and aborting the mission. I must say it was so bad that it compelled me to write my first negative review on Yelp, although I feel bad since others really seem to enjoy it. So first off, I am sorry that i don't like you, Fourleaf. You seem to try hard and I am glad other people do. Anyhoodle why do I not like Fourleaf? Oh let me count the ways... in fact I think I will write a list. 1. Location - Ugh, what a hassle. It is in a horrible little strip mall and I have to cross the horrendous Arapahoe and I-25 intersection to get there which makes me crabby. 2. Atmosphere, or lack thereof - no character whatsoever, doesn't seem all that clean. 3. Service - I am a small girl and I eat a lot (I am a serious triathlete, so it may not look like I do, but I do!!). I absolutely HATE it when places ask me if I really want the size I want. Um, yes I do. So that drove me nuts. Other than that it was okay, but I do not care for being questioned when I order my meal. 4. Actual salad components - I ordered the Southwestern salad with Spinach instead of Iceberg. The spinach was okay but I found the tomatoes a bit mushy and the chicken didn't taste like anything. That was not what killed me, though - it was the dressing. I really like low fat dressing because it's not really bad for you but it tends to have some flavor (i.e. fat). Fourleaf only has full-fat and fat free dressings so in my mind that was a strike against them, but I decided to try the fat free Ranch because I figured if they didn't have a low fat option maybe it would be okay. It is the component that made my salad inedible. It tasted like Kraft from a grocery store - more like melted plastic than dressing. It was inedible. I can only remember one or two times in my life when I've thrown away an entire meal, but after three or four bites, I threw it out. 5. Sides - The breadstick they give you is warm which is excellent but it tasted like the Pillsbury breadsticks you can buy at the grocery store, ick! I am sorry to say that I really don't like anything about Fourleaf and after this experience I won't be going back.

Let me start off with saying I have been looking for a good salad place ever since I stopped working downtown, I think I have found my replacement. I went here for the first time today after craving a salad. I got the Southwestern with the southwestern ranch and it was great my only complaint was that I could taste the corn was from a can (which I'm not a fan of). I went a little early (1115ish) after reading other reviews that it got busy and I had a meeting right after lunch and after only a short wait in line I gave my order and got it back quickly as well. I would definitely recommend.

Fourleaf Chopped Salads is very similar to Mad Greens or Green Fine Salad in that you have several choices in base leaf, toppings and dressing. They were cool with my request for Half Spinach and Half Spring Mix. I must admit to being a bit confused when he asked me if I wanted what sounded like "blackpeppercroutons" but was actually black pepper and croutons. I just said yes because I heard the word "pepper" in there somewhere. In retrospect, I did not want croutons. The ingredients were fresh and appropriately crunchy. The southwest ranch dressing was WAY spicier than I thought it would be! I was expecting something much different but I warmed up to it and ended up having a great salad. The service was very friendly and we were pretty much the only two there. They were more similar to Green Fine Salad than Mad Greens because they chopped up the ingredients before tossing it with the dressing, but the location seemed more fast foody than a place for casual dining. As far as ranking with the other salad giants here - better than Mad Greens, but Green Fine Salad is still my favorite.

The line can be a little long during peak lunch rush, but it moves pretty quick. I eat the southwest about twice a week. LOVE IT! They have a great loyalty card deal. Nice folks.

Just had my first salad here! Loved it! It's fun to watch them put everything together in front of you. It was delicious and I will be back. Very unique and Healthy! The staff was all very friendly as well. I really wanted todays special but they were out at 12:15 which seems like bad planning since they don't open till 11am. Hopefully, they can plan better in the future as I can't break for lunch until noon....so I don't want to always miss the specials.

This was my second visit and I was still not exactly wowed. That is probably my fault because I have created my own salad both times. Friday I ordered a spinach and mixed greens salad with egg, celery, steak and I can't remember what else. The Caeser dressing wasn't as flavorful as I like. Usually I finish my salads. I finally gave up on the last bit because it wasn't calling my name. I did however enjoy the company and conversation of my lunchmate.

OMG what a concept. This place rocks. Salads made, chopped, and tossed to order. There should be a place like this in every large city. Fabulous service and very tasty.

I never thought I'd eat a salad and think, "Wow! I'm stuffed," but that's how I left after my 3rd adventure to Fourleaf. It wasn't the roll me out the door. I can't move feeling. It was the, that was a dang good lunch and beats a burger a fries... well, that day at least. Their ingredients are fresh, flavorful, and not overpowering. On my last trip, I devoured the buffalo chicken salad exchanging the ice burg for romaine. Just enough dressing. Just enough spice. But a little too much crunch; I'm not a fan of celery. My lunch date ordered the cobb with lemon basil dressing. I'm pretty sure I could have ordered the dressing as my drink. On my other visits I ordered the greek salad or a variation there of. Again... Just right. Now if only I had a gigantic cutting board and a rocker knife, I'd be set for life...

This is an excellent spot for lunch. There's a wide variety of pre-constructed salads to choose from or you can build your own. Personally, I think the combinations on the menu are almost too good to top by building your own salad. The most unique part about this place is the the salads are chopped. While this doesn't sound like anything special, it really makes a big difference. After you follow your salad all the way down the line, they dump all the ingredients on the counter and chop them up into small pieces. They then add the chopped salad to a big metal bowl, add the dressing you choose, and stir it around so the whole salad is coated -- you don't have to bother mixing it up yourself at all. I've tried two different salads here so far. The first time I went I got the Asian, which was good, but nothing spectacular. Then I tried the Napa Valley and I haven't gone back since -- great bleu cheese and walnut flavor. Two other nice touches are the piece of fresh-baked bread that come with each salad and the option to get fresh-ground black pepper on your salad. My only complaints are that it's a bit pricey (although I must say the small size is enough to fill me up for lunch) and that the lunch rush gets a bit overwhelming at times (I think I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for my salad once). I guess it just goes to show you get what you pay for...

OK now. Let's talk about this amazing concept. Pick a lettuce, pick your ingredients, pick your dressing, watch them chop it up, pay, leave. Why didn't someone think of this sooner??? When I moved here, I was SO shocked that I hadn't seen something like this in healthy, crazy, California. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and think that anyone smart enough to create a salad only business, is amazing. Check it out if you can. The only bad thing about this place is that it closes at 6 PM during the week and at 3 on weekends. They may even be closed on Sundays...it's the Tech Center...cut them some slack. FYI - I think they're still looking for investors!!

I've got to say that I'm kind of pissed over what just happened here. I used to work in the area. I haven't eaten here in at least a year. I went out of my way today to grab lunch here because it sounded like such a good idea. When I got up to the counter to place my order, I noticed that the iceburg lettuce was turning pink and brown and flat out didn't look fresh at all. I said something to the lady who took my order and she blew it off. I started to place my order, again asking if she was going to get fresher lettuce and she made it very clear that she was upset with me. She slammed down her pencil and went to the back. Everyone in line could see her talking to another woman and throwing her hands up in the air. She came back and told another co-worker they need to change out the lettuce. Another co-worker asked why she was changing out the lettuce and she made a point to say in a loud and snotty manner that apparently there is a problem with it and that she doesn't know what the problem is. She was so busy being pissed off at me that she screwed up my order and I had to repeat myself several times. The lady at the cash register was very nice. My salad was tasty, the fresh brewed iced tea was a bonus and it was all pretty much how I remembered it. I am just so irritated that a place of this caliber would serve lettuce that's starting to turn and that their employees could act so rude to their customers. I didn't catch her name, but she had dark hair and her stomach was hanging over her apron (shirt was tucked in though) and dragging across the chopping block... ew! She needs a lesson in customer service and how to tell bad lettuce from fresh lettuce.

I like this place. It's not the same or as good as Mad Greens, but they have an interesting menu that differs from the other chopped salad places. They even had a trivia question the time I was in which added a bit of extra fun. The dining room leaves a lot to be desired and is pretty small, so be careful if you go at the lunch hour rush.

As far as local salad places go, this one has NO peer! first off, it's run by a lovely local couple, monica and her husband. They have a great selection of good fresh toppings, make their own dressings and it all adds up to a great place to eat something healthy! For my wife and I, they keep our "favorite" salads on note cards there, so we can just order our "usuals." That's just a nice "small touch" sort of thing that I like. Mad Greens is a decent competitor, but the dressings and toppings are Fourleaf make it the clear superior choice for me. They also have a nice program where you can buy $20 for a debit card, but they load up $25 - that's almost a free salad for every 3 or 4 - a nice deal! They have some good kids grub and nice breadsticks you get with your salad. Lastly, their dressings are so good and for sale! We always have a jar of one of their great dressings in our home fridge.. Eat healthy, eat more salad!

Mmm, quick, tasty, filling salads. My first time to Fourleaf Chopped Salads proved to be everything I had imagined. I'm the kind of person who likes to look at menus before I go to a new restaurant. Fourleaf didn't let me down---they post theirs online, thank goodness. The atmosphere is modern and sleek, but on this chilly day, the aluminum chairs and tables felt strikingly cold. Oh well, the salads are cold, so I guess I shouldn't care. I ordered a Southwestern salad which has romaine, chicken, jicama (a personal fav), tomato, avocado, black beans and roasted red peppers. But I substituted the peppers for cheddar cheese, which they did happily for me even though the sign asks for no subs. They give you free croutons with any salad and lots of fresh cracked black pepper AND a warm breadstick. I was sold. My friends had the Napa salad--yummy, I'm going to get that next time, and the Buffalo Chicken salad--also yummy. We beat the lunch crowd but we witnessed the reason so many people pre-order online...the line grew and grew and there were no tables left by noon.

I've been going to Fourleaf since it opened in 2004. It was really good, but as it gained popularity, the salads stayed tasty, but the staff has gotten terse and short with clientele. I have seen them snap several times at customers not familiar with the ordering process. Maybe review the menu online and have your order ready. It's still a great salad!!

This is a great place to grab a quick lunch with coworkers. They offer a variety of everything- greens, toppings, meats, etc (although I don't think any of their pre-made salads are no-meat/no-cheese, which is a little ironic). They make the salads for you then you get your own drink, similar to Subway. It tends to get packed around lunch, so get there earlier or later if you want to linger. Overall, I really like this place and think it's a good value for the money.

I stumbled upon this great lunch spot when I was working across the street at the now defunct Country Dinner Playhouse. This was a great find because not only was the food tasty, with interesting combinations, and fresh ingredients but it was fast. I couldn't believe the number of people that were served in the course of a half an hour. Also amazing were the number of pretty women wolfing down monstrous piles of salad in that same 1/2 hour. I was embarassed because I couldn't keep up :) There are a lot of lunch joints in this area. Some passable, some not but this is an everyday lunch kind of place with very little gluttony guilt attached. Men, prepare to be humbled by little women.

I am highly disappointed in Fourleaf these days. We used to frequent almost daily for a couple of months. Then we found a dead fly in one of our salads. Haven't been very often since. Then I ordered in for some employees of mine, and many of the orders included things we had asked to be elimintated. Not sure what is going on over there, but highly disappointed in their place these last couple of months. Will not order again because of the poor food.

the variety and flavor of this spot are outstanding. in fact, of all the salad places Ive been to in any city, this is probably my favorite... taste-wise. ingredients are super fresh too the location really steps this spot down a notch. it's in a terrible and depressing shopping center. it's also slightly dirty - which i will admit -sketched me out a bit. but the salad is great, the staff is really nice and helpful and you get a tasty bread stick. who doesn't love a tasty bread stick?

This is a fantastic little salad spot. There are so many endless combinations- everything you could think of for a salad and then some. Each one comes with a tasty little breadstick and if you're lucky, they'll have gummy bears at the counter too :) I come for lunch at least once a week.

This is the place to get a perfect salad. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and you can pick what you want. It is very well maintained and the people who work there are friendly and helpful. All of the salad dressings that I have tried are great. I work nearby and I always go in the early afternoon, it's always quick and easy too.
